Since being drafted by the New Orleans Saints, Cooks has been a great option for fantasy football owners. In his rookie season, Cooks was a steal for anyone who either drafted him or picked him up on the waiver wire. Since bursting on to the scene, Cooks has only gotten better.

After the strong rookie season, Cooks has totaled over 1,000 yards receiving in the last two seasons. In addition to the impressive yardage total, Cooks has also been able to find the end zone 17 times the last two years.

While the Saints are known for the high-powered offense, Cooks will be joining another great quarterback in Brady. If Cooks went almost anywhere besides New England, owners might have gotten a bit nervous. However, Cooks will be the primary deep option for the Patriots’ passing attack.

In training camp, Cooks and Brady have also started to get in rhythm with Brady. As a very fast wide receiver, getting the timing down on routes was an important thing for Brady and Cooks. Even though the Patriots have a very talented offense, that shouldn’t scare anyone away from drafting Cooks. As one of the best young wide receivers in the NFL, Cooks is just entering his prime.
