CB Kenny Moore

The Patriots signed former Valdosta State cornerback Kenny Moore II as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 draft. Reigning from the same conference that produced Pro Bowl cornerback Malcolm Butler, Kenny Moore aims to follow in his teammate’s footsteps.

In June, Musket Fire labeled Moore a ‘minicamp standout‘ after he earned second-team reps as a rookie UDFA. He’s continued to excel in training camp and make the best of his opportunities.

Following Day 3 of training camp, Doug Kyed wrote of 5-foot-9 cornerback:

"“Moore already has two interceptions and four pass breakups in competitive drills during the Patriots’ first three training camp practices. He had two pass breakups in the spring, as well, and impressed enough that he received some reps with the veterans rather than his fellow rookies.”"

Jonathan Jones, Cyrus Jones, and Justin Coleman are currently dueling for the Patriots’ fourth cornerback spot. With his impressive showing in camp so far, Moore has a chance to join that group.

Next: Pre-Camp Roster Predictions

Cornerbacks Malcolm Butler, and the aforementioned Jonathan Jones and Justin Coleman earned spots on New England’s 53-man roster as undrafted rookies. Throughout the rest of camp along with preseason, Moore will look to do the same.
