The New England Patriots are solid favorites to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions since they last did it. But the Patriots are also favored in each of their first 16 games at one Las Vegas sportsbook.

The defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots are not only overwhelming favorites to repeat at every Las Vegas sportsbook. One book in Vegas already has listed New England as the favorite in each of the first 16 games too. Week 17 is left out because teams could rest players.

ESPN Chalk’s Ben Fawkes has every point spread from CG Technology over the first 16 weeks of the regular season posted for every team, including New England. Fawkes notes two games on the schedule that have the smallest spreads, with both of them taking place away from home.

"The Patriots are favored by an average of 6.5 points per game next season, with the largest spread 12.5 points at home against the Los Angeles Chargers. New England is only a 1.5-point favorite in Week 11 against the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City and Week 15 at the Pittsburgh Steelers."

It is also worth noting that New England is a double-digit favorite in two games, both at home. The Patriots are 12.5-point faves against the San Diego Chargers in Week 8. They are also 11.5-point chalk versus the Buffalo Bills in Week 16. But there are four other home games that see them favored between 9 and 9.5 points. And they host the New York Jets in Week 17.

The Super Bowl 51 rematch between New England and the Atlanta Falcons will happen at Gillette Stadium in Week 7. That game will be televised on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, with the Patriots sitting as 6.5-point favorites at CG Technology.

Win Total Update

As previously reported, New England has the highest Over/Under Win Total in Vegas as well. The Patriots opened at 11 and have been bet up as high as 12 and even 12.5 offshore.
