To put it bluntly, Stork being released after an offseason with multiple temper tantrums was Belichick sending a message to his players. Simultaneously giving Andrews the starting job further echoes this sentiment, as Andrews was a weight room warrior and earned recognition for his hard work during the offseason. In comparison, Stork did not receives such accolades.

Patriots 2016 season prediction  

While the Patriots’ offensive line was a hindrance as the 2015 season wore on and ultimately contributed the most to the team’s doom in the AFC Championship Game disappointment, it appears that a resurgence has been set in motion. The Pats snagged a stud in 2016 third-rounder Thuney, and with 2015 undrafted Andrews taking the starting reins, the Patriots are enjoying the benefits of some excellent NCAA scouting. North Carolina State and Georgia aren’t especially known for producing the best offensive linemen, but the Patriots are bucking that assumption.
