1. It’s the end of an impressive streak for Nink.

Ninkovich joined the Patriots in 2009, a season in which he missed one game. Turns out, that was the only games Ninkovich missed in SEVEN years. That’s right; 2016 will mark the first time that Ninkovich will miss a regular season game since the first year of the Obama administration. Nuts.

Until last season, Ninkovich hadn’t even missed a single practice in that span. He is one of the NFL’s iron men. You have to feel for the guy a bit; a torn triceps is a nasty injury, and you have to think Nink got his arm caught in a bad place at a bad time in yesterday’s practice for that to happen.
