Patriots training camp: 8 notables from Tuesday
3. Josh Kline worked in as the starting right guard.
This is notable because of all the moving parts at guard right now. It looks like the Patriots are leaning toward plugging rookie Joe Thuney in at left guard and Kline at the other guard spot. It should also be noted that in the absence of Nate Solder and Sebastian Vollmer, LaAdrian Waddle played left tackle and Marcus Cannon was at the right.

2. Brandin Cooks got the better of Butler.
Although it was a heated battle all day, reporters are saying that Cooks had the upper hand over Butler. Still though, you like seeing your No. 1 cornerback worked in August. It’s good for Butler to be tested.
