1. Gronk, Bennett connected before trade
In a one-on-one interview with Patriots.com, Martellus Bennett spoke about meeting up with Rob Gronkowski in Los Angeles before getting traded to the Patriots:
"I actually saw Rob, we work out in the same place in L.A., so we just crossed paths the other day. I think it will be fun. I’m interested to see the way they want to use us together, and the way they put the offense together. I have no idea what the plan is, but I know they have a plan for having us both on the field at the same time a lot."
This writer is doing his best to not scream at the top of his lungs in excitement at the thought of Gronk and Bennett playing together. It’s a match made in football heaven.
