At the time, this game was viewed as a big midseason test for a Patriots team that had shrugged off its September demons. But a big performance out of Gronk kept the Broncos at bay, and the Patriots cruised to a big win.

Gronk led the way with those 105 yards and early fourth quarter touchdown, and his efforts were echoed by Julian Edelman (nine receptions, 89 yards, touchdown), Brandon LaFell (six receptions, 53 yards, touchdown) and Shane Vereen (five receptions 38 yards, touchdown).

This was Gronk’s second-best performance against the Broncos in terms of receiving yardage.
