Home-Field Advantage In Sight

With this win, the New England Patriots are very close to securing home-field advantage throughout the postseason. If they beat the Jets, and then follow suit against the Bills, the one seed is theirs. Of course if the Bengals take down the Broncos next week, and the Pats take care of business of the Jets, they would clinch the top seed before week 17 even gets here.

Now, I truly think this 2014 Patriots team could go up to Denver and win if necessary. They have the better defense, the better quarterback, and they have Rob Gronkowski. However it is still extremely important to win these last two games so they won’t have to leave Foxboro until they head to Arizona for the Super Bowl (hopefully).

Tom Brady is unbeatable at home, and Peyton doesn’t like playing in New England weather. All the Pats need to do is beat the horrid Jets, and take down the Bills, who despite a terrific defense against everybody else, still struggle against Brady and company.

Let’s be honest. Do you see anybody beating the Patriots at Gillette in the playoffs? Didn’t think so.
