START: Tom Brady, QB – New England Patriots

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

I know Denver’s defense looks fierce, but I really think Brady is going to go off this Sunday. He knows how to attack this secondary, and most importantly, he has Rob Gronkowski 100% healthy once again. There is nobody that can defend Gronk on that Broncos team, so if Brady gets time to throw the ball, he will put up huge numbers.

SIT: Demaryius Thomas, WR – Denver Broncos

Whether it is Darrelle Revis locking in on him, or Brandon Browner taking turns beating him up, I don’t think Thomas will have a good day this weekend at snowy Foxboro. The Patriots have the best secondary in the NFL in my eyes, and they will look to neutralize Peyton’s most dangerous weapon. I think Bill Belichick has a plan up his sleeve to take Thomas out of the game, so my advice to you is to take him out of your fantasy lineup.

SLEEPER: Shane Vereen, RB – New England Patriots

This isn’t really a sleeper pick, but after last week’s fantasy stinker, a lot of people might have given up on Vereen. But you shouldn’t. He is a matchup nightmare, and Denver will have trouble covering him from start to finish this week. He will burn the linebackers all game long, and might even net a touchdown or two.
