Since deciding to officially retire after the 2022 NFL season, legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been busy with various new career ventures. From podcasts and getting into the commentary booth to hoping to become a part owner of a franchise, there's not much Brady hasn't explored in his post-football career.

This year, in the midst of his first season as one of the leading color analysts for FOX Sports, Brady has also been working toward buying a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. It was a controversial decision, given his history with the team (tuck rule game, anyone?) and how becoming an owner would impact his commentary career.

However, multiple outlets announced that league owners officially approved his purchase of a 5% stake in the Raiders on Tuesday.

As soon as the news broke, many questions were asked about how this would impact his broadcasting career. Although that is expected to continue, there is one sweet bit of an under-the-radar story associated with Brady's new ownership.

The 7-time Super Bowl Champion is now considered one of Roger Goodell's bosses, as is every other team owner in the league.

It was a factor that many longtime Patriots fans immediately celebrated, given how miserable the Commissioner made things for the team throughout the two-decade dynasty in New England. It feels like the ultimate source of revenge for them and the quarterback, even if nothing will really come of it other than the satisfaction that Brady is now Goodell's boss.

It's been a long time coming for fans who have sought revenge on Goodell for the ridiculous punishments he inflicted upon the Patriots with little to no merit, especially the latest and most ridiculous of all controversies, "deflategate."

At the end of the day, it's just a tiny bit of happiness the news can bring to Patriots fans.
