We are just one day away from the 2025 NFL schedule release, and there is a lot to look forward to regarding the Patriots. Although the last few seasons have not been good in New England, there is plenty of optimism going into this year under the new leadership of Mike Vrabel and his coaching staff.

It's the first time since Tom Brady's last season that feels like they actually have a chance to put together a winning season, and the latest schedule leak helps further that belief.

It's already been revealed that they will face one of the easier strength of schedules for the season, something they were not necessarily dealt in recent years. That's already a massive plus for an improving team, but knowing they won't be heading overseas is perhaps even more crucial to their 2025 success.

The NFL announced on Tuesday morning every international game that will be played this fall, including back-to-back overseas games for the Vikings. Fortunately, there is far less traveling than one would expect, and the games are in the same time zone. However, it's certainly beneficial that the Patriots won't have to deal with that instead.

There was a chance they would have played an international game this year, but speculation suggests that their last two years playing in Frankfurt and London may have helped ensure they weren't booked this season.

The Patriots luck out big time with no international game for the 2025 season

The upcoming season will be a very telling one for the Patriots, especially since Robert Kraft chose to fire Jerod Mayo after just one season and finally got his man, Mike Vrabel, in the door. It was speculated that he initially wanted him to be Bill Belichick's successor, but he was still filling that role for the Titans.

Instead, Vrabel is in the building now and has already impressed with what appears to be a successful offseason so far. From an impressive free agency to a highly regarded draft, the Patriots' new head coach has already proven to be the right guy for the job.

He will have a tall task ahead of him this fall, leading his former team to hopefully a winning season. Based on their opponents for the upcoming year, there's a good chance they can accomplish that, with all games being played in the United States, which is a big benefit to make that happen.
