The New England Patriots might be playing in Super Bowl 60 this Sunday, but that's not the only storyline surrounding the team right now. Fans are still reeling from the Hall of Fame snubs of owner Robert Kraft and former head coach Bill Belichick, and that has still been a hot topic of conversation during Super Bowl week.

Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski couldn't help but poke fun at the snubs in the most Gronk way possible. While appearing on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams, Gronkowski didn't hold back.

"I was actually just making jokes but I'm not even really making jokes anymore," Gronkowski said. "Tom Brady's gonna be a fourth-ballot Hall of Famer now! [Kraft] can't get in. Bill Belichick can't get in. Where's Tom gonna sit? ... I mean obviously Tom's gotta be a first-ballot but who knows what's gonna happen now?"

Rob Gronkowski has jokes after shocking Patriots Hall of Fame snubs

While, on the surface, it does sound like Gronkowski is joking here, is what he's saying really that crazy of a thought?

If the Hall of Fame voters are going to hold Spygate against Kraft and Belichick, what's to stop them from holding Deflategate against Brady? Is there going to be a Patriots bias against Gronkowski when he's eligible for the Hall of Fame next year?

Brady not being a first-ballot Hall of Famer would be wild but, then again, Belichick not getting in on his first attempt was pretty outrageous. Brady accomplished more without Belichick than Belichick did without him, so maybe that helps his case when he's eligible in two years. We'll have to wait and see.

For now, it's good to see that Gronk has the exact attitude we'd all expect him to have when it comes to these conversations. Never change, Gronk.
