Who are the most important players on the Patriots' roster heading into 2023?

Every player is important, but there are some who can truly make or break the New England Patriots' 2023 season. The most obvious choice here is probably Mac Jones, who needs to rebound in a big way if the Patriots want to have a season like they did in 2021.

Quarterback is the most important position in all of sports, so there's no shock there. Other players on the roster also hold a great bit of influence in their hands for the 2023 season. I think the following players are easily the most important on the roster heading into 2023.

1. Trent Brown and Riley Reiff

Trent Brown and Riley Reiff are likely the two starting tackles for the 2023 season. It's not known yet if the Pats plan on keeping Brown at left tackle, as both he and Reiff have played both sides before. Reiff has played right tackle most recently, and Brown has obviously played left tackle most recently.

Either way, the tackle performance is huge in 2023, as we can mostly say with confidence that the interior of the offensive line is going to hold up their end of the bargain. The tackles playing at an average level at least would have an amazing impact on the performance of Mac Jones.
