Target #5: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

Bowers is one of many “trading back” options for the Patriots. While you probably wouldn’t take him at No. 3 (and I can’t imagine the reactions of Pats fans if “New England has traded the pick” comes on the screen), Bowers is one of the best talents in the draft and would make an immediate impact in Foxboro.

He concluded his career at Georgia with 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns on 175 catches, including three games of 150+ yards. One of those came in the 2022 season National Championship victory over TCU, where he caught seven passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.
