Tom Brady might be continuing his NFL career in the broadcast booth now that he has retired, but he's still just as passionate about the game and his drive to win Super Bowls as if he is still suiting up on Sunday.

That became more apparent in Week 4, as the FOX commentator was on call for the Eagles vs. Bucs game, which prompted a conversation about Baker Mayfield's recent controversial comments regarding Brady's time with the team, a tenure in which brought Tampa Bay their first Super Bowl title in 18 years.

Because Mayfield is the first quarterback to take over after Brady's retirement and has seen some impressive success in his post-Browns era, he has seemed to get a bit overly confident, which led him to discuss how the Bucs locker room was when Brady was still under center.

He recently spoke about Brady during an appearance on the Casa de Klub podcast, creating a stir and a lot of negative attention that he was likely not intending for. But it's bound to happen when you speak negatively about the greatest of all time.

“The building was a little bit different with Tom in there. Obviously, playing-wise, Tom is different. He had everybody dialed in, high-strung environment, so I think everybody was pretty stressed out. They wanted me to come in, be myself, bring the joy back to football for guys who weren’t having as much fun.

You hear some of the stories about if he didn’t like a certain play call and he didn’t like it throughout the week and they still call it in the game, there might have been a throwaway on purpose or throwing it at the running back or receiver’s feet. There were a lot of mind games going on.”

Mayfield got a contract and decided to roast the greatest quarterback of all time despite not being on the team to know what was going on firsthand, something Brady didn't take too kindly.

Hearing the comments and having a prime opportunity to respond, as he was in the booth calling the game, Brady was asked about Mayfield's remarks on Sunday and didn't hold back his feelings, as he shouldn't.

Brady certainly did not hold back and served Mayfield the cold, hard truth, even more so to any teammates who had given the Bucs new quarterback that impression. While it likely wasn't a fun atmosphere all the time, it's difficult to argue that winning a Super Bowl wasn't a fun experience for that team.

It's another reminder not to speak on things you weren't a part of and an even harsher reminder not to speak ill of Tom Brady, especially when it's predominately nonsense.
