The New England Patriots have a difficult schedule in 2023, especially at the beginning of the season.

Instead of predicting their record, I think it's interesting to look at underrated games on their schedule.

Here are the three most underrated games on the Patriots' 2023 schedule.

Week 10 Vs Indianapolis Colts

The Week ten matchup is an underrated one for the Patriots in 2023.

The game being played in Germany makes this game underrated because international games tend to be exciting every year. There is always one wacky international game every year, which could be this one.

Also, the Patriots will most likely be facing quarterback Anthony Richardson, who they met with during the pre-draft process.

The fact that the Patriots were linked to Richardson at one point makes this an underrated game. If Richardson plays well, it could make Patriots fans second-guess Bill Belichick for not making a move for him.

Week 14 at Pittsburgh Steelers

The matchup with the Steelers in Week 14 is an underrated matchup that fans should be excited about.

The Patriots/Steelers rivalry almost always delivers in terms of producing an exciting game. And seeing Juju Smith-Schuster return to Pittsburgh for the first time should add more excitement and drama to the game.

The game is also underrated because both teams are in similar positions.

Both teams have decent rosters that support young quarterbacks that still haven’t found their footing yet. This game could go a long way in showing which team is positioned better for the future.

Week 16 at Denver Broncos

The Week 16 matchup is an underrated game for the Patriots that should be special.

The game will be played at night on Christmas Eve, which should add excitement. Also, both teams should be fighting for a playoff spot, which would add more drama to the game.

The coaching matchup is also an underrated game because Sean Payton and Bill Belichick are brilliant football minds. The strong coaching matchup combined with likely improved play from Russell Wilson makes this an underrated matchup.

It will be interesting to see how these games turn out this season.
