Three moves to get the Patriots do the Super Bowl in 2023
3. Patriots should trade for Mike Evans

Like many veteran players on bad teams, there will always be rumors of them being traded, unhappy in their current situations, etc. Mike Evans is set to enter his age-30 season in 2023 and has been one of the very best players, forget wide receivers, in football over the last decade.

He's had at least 1,000 yards in each of his first nine seasons, an NFL record. He's a four-time Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl champion, and a true X receiver who would fill a huge need for the Patriots. I do think New England does have a nice core of skill players to throw to on offense.

Just check out this list of potential contributors: Hunter Henry, Mike Gesicki, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Tyquan Thornton, Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, DeVante Parker, James Robinson, Rhamondre Stevenson.

They have a deep cupboard of players on offense, but no one is truly elite. Mike Evans would change that. He'd fill a huge need for the Patriots and give them a complete offense.
