The major roster moves across the NFL are likely done, but there are still a few that the Patriots can make to return to their former Super Bowl contender status. The Pats do still have some opportunity to make some legitimate roster movement between now and the start of the 2023 season.

If you believe in Mac Jones and the offense, then you'd have to think that this is at least a playoff team, right? I mean, they won 10 games in 2021 on the backs of an efficient offense and defense. If you believe in that being the case for 2023, then the Pats could be a true contender.

Well, they still do have some holes on their roster that could be filled between now and the start of the 2023 season. Let's take a look at three moves to get the Pats back to the Super Bowl for 2023.

Three moves to get the Patriots do the Super Bowl in 2023
1. Patriots should sign Taylor Lewan

The Patriots did not draft a tackle in 2023 but did sign two in Calvin Anderson and Riley Reiff. Right now, it looks like Reiff and Trent Brown will be the two starting tackles, but why not see what a three time Pro Bowler is up to?

Lewan was at one point one of the three best left tackles in football, but he's been limited to just 20 games over the last three seasons due to injury. He'd come very cheap and would instantly be the best tackle on the roster.

Just imagine if Lewan would return to his old self and actually stay on the field? The Pats would have an elite left side and Mac Jones would be more than protected.
