Re-grading the Patriots 2023 NFL Draft class after one season

Round 6, Pick No. 210 - WR DeMario Douglas, Liberty

One of the most pleasant surprises during the 2023 season was the rise of DeMario Douglas, who kicked off his impressive rookie season as soon as he took the field in Week 1.

Although his stats don't jump off the paper every week, Douglas became one of the most reliable pieces on the offense for Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe, bringing the boost the team needed at the right time in every game.

Because he was quickly integrated into the game plan every week, Douglas recorded 49 receptions for a team-high of 561 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per catch. His production brought a silver lining to an otherwise dismal season offensively, proving he could become a highlight of the receiving corps for years to come.

Douglas is expected to be a big part of the team moving forward, especially this upcoming season, whether Jacoby Brissett or a rookie quarterback is under center. He has an excellent season to build upon, and it'll be fun to watch what he can do in just his second year.

Isaiah Bolden was injured before the start of the 2023 season, missing the entire year because of it.
