As the Patriots prepare for their third week of training camp and move on to their second preseason game, there is plenty to take away from their performance against the Panthers in Thursday's Week 1 preseason matchup.

While there are still a few weeks until roster cutdowns are set to take place, which is now just a one-time cut from 90 players to 53, a few players have stood out during training camp and turned it up a notch once they took the field for real game action.

All eyes were undoubtedly on the offense, and fortunately, many players lived up to the hype they earned from their offseason showings. A few under-the-radar names stood out from their performances, which catapulted them to the top of the list of guys who will need to be seriously considered for the 2024 roster moving forward.

Because of that and everything else we saw, another roster projection after the Week 1 preseason game became much more interesting.
