Week 12 versus the New York Giants... the "Tank Bowl"

Both the New England Patriots and New York Giants are currently in top-five slots in the 2024 NFL Draft, and both franchise desperately need a QB. It's baffling that the Giants paid Daniel Jones, but that isn't going to stop them from taking a replacement for Jones. Before the season, this original QB matchup of Mac Jones and Daniel Jones was likely going to be viewed as a solid one.

Many thought Mac Jones would return to his 2021 self, and Daniel Jones had a clearly better season in 2022 than he did in any other season. Well, not only do we not see Daniel Jones, but I'm not sure Mac Jones starts this game. I don't think we'll see a lot of points scored in this game.

Mock Drafts everywhere!

A recent mock draft from the 33rd Team has the Patriots landing Caleb Williams in the 2024 NFL Draft. The mock had the Chicago Bears selecting Olu Fashanu with the top pick and the Arizona Cardinals taking Marvin Harrison Jr with the second pick. This would be the absolute dream scenario for the Patriots who desperately need a QB.

Another mock draft last week from PFF has the team taking Marvin Harrison Jr with their top pick. Tankathon.com's current mock draft has the team landing Drake Maye. You might find four different players being mocked to the Pats with the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and if they can get into the top two, the Pats would be guaranteed to get Williams or Maye.
