Patriots add another wide receiver to the practice squad

With all that chaos within the wide receiver room after Kendrick Bourne's season-ending injury, DeVante Parker suffering a concussion, and Kayshon Boutte's benching, it's unsurprising that Bill Belichick decided to add another receiver to the practice squad this week.

They didn't extend themselves too far with who they chose to sign, as T.J. Luther was brought back just a few weeks after he was released from the practice squad. He becomes the only receiver there now that Boutte and Jalen Reagor have been officially signed to the 53-man roster.

The undrafted free agent spent some time with the Jets this summer, participating in three preseason games on offense and special teams before he was released for roster cuts in August. He didn't record any receptions, but the Patriots' interest hasn't waivered since they brought him in a few months ago.

It will be interesting to see if he is elevated for any upcoming games especially with some of those on the game-day roster continuing to struggle, or in Boutte's case, get benched.
