Contrary to popular belief, the Patriots have a chance to win their first game of the season this Sunday against the reigning NFC Champion Eagles. Sure, Vegas odds and most analysts will tell you otherwise, but we just saw the latest Super Bowl winners be taken down very unexpectedly on their home turf Thursday night.

So, how is the Patriots beating the Eagles out of the question?

There's certainly a lot stacked against New England to win this game, with Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown dominating the offense while James Bradberry and Darius Slay handle the secondary. But there are a lot of unknowns surrounding this year's Patriots team that can work in their favor, some of which are likely to give them a slight advantage over their opponents.

Maybe they won't be all that monumental come Sunday afternoon, and perhaps these so-called advantages don't mean much to some. However, it's week one of a long NFL season. Anything can happen, and the Patriots should try to utilize these five potential advantages as much as possible.
