Because the Patriots have put together a solid start to their 2024 NFL Draft class, it's time to look around the AFC East to see what their divisional rivals are up to.

So far, the Bills, Dolphins and Jets have all had successful selections as well, which is not the news New England wants to hear given the state of their rebuild. Unfortunately, it was bound to happen, given the needs of the teams and the deep classes.

But there is one part of it all that Patriots fans can take joy from, if cringing is something you're into, that is.

Patriots fans can laugh at Jets after cringe-worthy "Draft Day" reference

The Jets decided to share a text message between Jets head coach Robert Saleh and General Manager Joe Douglas regarding their pick of wide receiver Malachi Corley.

They had their eye on him from the start, so the screenshots were meant to share more of their excitement, but a moment that was meant to be deemed "cool" was filled with more secondhand embarrassment than anything.

It can always be celebrated when a team is able to pick a player they scouted and wanted, it's hard to argue against the excitement that brings to a fanbase.

However, this text message exchange just ain't it. It's an attempt at having a "cute" moment about a football movie, but it just didn't resonate with fans in the way they probably imagined, at least Patriots fans find it cringey.

It's always a good time to laugh at a silly situation like this, right? Because Jets will always Jet.
