The special broadcast trio of Devin, Jason McCourty, and Scott Zolak has received mixed reviews through two preseason games called so far. Improvement to their calls was evident for the Patriots' matchup against the Eagles on Thursday night, which made the game much more enjoyable to listen to than a week prior.

But one moment seems to have gone predominately unnoticed by those listening and watching the game.

Halfway through the third quarter, Tom Brady was mentioned in the conversation, as he would while watching a Patriots game, and the McCourtys slipped out that the legendary quarterback would make his triumphant return to Foxboro sooner than expected from the broadcasting booth.

Brady is set to begin his new career venture with Fox Sports this fall, which had many Patriots fans hoping he would be on call for one of the team's games this season. But given the state of the team, it didn't seem like it was a possibility in the near future.

However, the McCourtys and Zolak dropped a bombshell by revealing that Brady will be in the booth for the Patriots' Week 5 matchup with the Dolphins, a detail that hadn't yet been released to the public.

If that's true, which it likely is since they have no reason to lie, that's an exciting game to look forward to more than it ever would be. The Dolphins are always a problematic team for the Patriots, even in New England, but knowing Brady will be calling the game makes it a can't miss.

It will be interesting to see how Brady takes on this role as a color commentator, especially when calling a game of his former team. He's already said he will be honest and won't sugarcoat what he sees or thinks, but let's hope he won't be too brutal on the Patriots.
