Fourth round, 103rd pick – ED Bralen Trice
Trice has the potential to be the next Maxx Crosby. He is one and a half inches shorter than Crosby and 10 lbs. lighter, but he shares Crosby’s motor. Evidently, Trice isn’t the biggest EDGE defender, or the fastest, or even the strongest, but he hardly ever stops.
He ended the 2023 season with 80 pressures; that’s over five per game! In his last two years at Washington, Trice recorded 23.5 tackles for a loss and 16 sacks. As a senior, he also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, and defended two passes.
Trice is another guy with a huge, predicted draft range; one scouting report says he has “perhaps the most savvy first three steps of any rusher in the country.”. But some NFL scouts rate him as merely a rotational guy and expect him to still be available on the third day.
That seems highly unlikely, but if he is still on the board for the 103rd pick, the Patriots should snap him up. Maybe his ceaseless energy will rub off on Keion White?
If you are a offensive line prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, odds are that Bralen Trice has a highlight against you.

Not the biggest or most athletic guy but there's something to be said for his violence, competitiveness and motor that will translate into a rotational role. pic.twitter.com/Vp5BaQtaxE
