Round 1: TRADE!
Patriots trade their 2025 1st round pick and the 42nd (acquired from the Vikings) to the Lions for the 29th and 73rd pick.
Troy Franklin - WR, Oregon
This is where the aggression in the draft comes into play. Franklin is fast and runs away from defenders fast! He’s one of the reasons Bo Nix is projected to go so high in this draft. He’s also 6 feet 3 inches tall (according to his Oregon pen pic), so he’d be an excellent foil for the Patriots’ other fast receiver, Demario Douglas.

2nd round - 34th pick
Kingsley Suamataia - OT, BYU
Kingsley Suamataia BYU played both right and left tackle in college. And he’s exactly the same size as Lane Johnson. But that's not where the similarities end; he's projected to run a 4.8 40-yard time, and Johnson ran a 4,72. His BYU offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick called Suamataia “The most athletic and violent OL he had ever coached.”. And he coached Garett Bolles!
