Patriots 7-Round Mock Draft: Double-dip at receiver puts offense over the top

Patriots select Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon, with pick No. 34
The Oregon receiver caught 81 passes in 2023, hauling in 14 touchdowns and averaging 17.1 yards per catch. Marvin Harrison Jr. averaged 18.1 yards per catch last season, by comparison. But Franklin was playing in the Pac 12Pac-12, not the Big 10.
Franklin only ran a 4.41 40-yard time at the combine. That’s fast, but it was only the 21st fastest time on the day! He is very impressive running deep routes, though, and Daniels excelled when throwing deep passes for Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers to haul in at LSU.
