Patriots 2024 practice squad roster: Full list of players
With the Patriots' 53-man roster finalized for the 2024 season this week, they are not done adding more possible playmakers to the team through the waiver wire and assembling their practice squad.
Several of the players who were released during Tuesday's deadline are expected to return, and so far, that has been the case, with a few notable names already signing to the practice squad. They also lost a few notable names that most predicted would return, like QB Bailey Zappe, who will reportedly sign to the Chiefs practice squad.
Other players, such as WR David Wallis, who impressed with his returns during the preseason, and S Joshuah Bledsoe, who was a surprising cut, will not be signing to the practice squad either.
Regardless, they did sign some solid additions who could see some game time this fall.

Patriots practice squad FAQs
How many players can be on the Patriots practice squad?
All teams are allowed up to 16 players on their practice squad. They are allowed a 17th player if they are part of the International Player Pathway Program, which the Patriots will take part in by signing Australian defensive end Jotham Russell.
Can other teams sign players off the Patriots practice squad?
Yes, practice squad players are always eligible to be signed by another team in the league. However, they cannot be signed from one practice squad to another. Therefore, the team hoping to add them to their roster must have a contract ready for the gameday 53-man team.
Can practice squad players be protected from other NFL teams?
Fortunately, yes. Teams can protect up to four players on their practice squad a week, barring teams from communicating with them or trying to sign them for at least that week. This will come in handy for a team like the Patriots, which has some big weak spots on their offense and will likely elevate players throughout the season.
Can practice squad players play on gameday?
Practice squad players can play any game anytime, but they need to be elevated to the 53-man roster before that. It generally happens if a starter or a depth piece is injured, allowing the team to look at their practice squad for help.
