The New England Patriots pulled in a quality 2023 NFL Draft class. Who ends up the biggest winners and losers from the draft on the team?

I was shocked that the Patriots made some of the selections they did, but I do think they came away with a solid class overall even if they didn't hit on all of the needs they should have hit on. There are some clear winners and losers that were already on the roster after the 2023 NFL Draft.

Winners: The tackles

I was shocked to see the Patriots not come away with a tackle prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft. Somehow, they came away with three interior offensive linemen instead, which is a bit odd. I guess Bill Belichick and the offensive coaching staff have faith in Trent Brown, Riley Reiff, and Calvin Anderson to play at an effective enough level for the team.

Free agents like Donovan Smith and Taylor Lewan are on the market currently, but I don't think we'd see the Patriots make a move like that, so the current tackle room figures to be winners from the draft.
