New England Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown got a special delivery brought to him at Gillette Stadium. In a video posted by Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne on Instagram, you could see a brand new car being emptied out of a semi-truck.

The starting left tackle was seen smiling ear to ear, giggling, and laughing as Bourne wrote on the video, "he rich."

It was nice to see that the big left tackle out of Florida University was already in Foxboro with training camp on the horizon. The 30-year-old had missed much of the offseason activities earlier this offseason, creating a string of rumors regarding the reason for his absence.

Brown will be a massive cog for the already thin offensive line group. With offensive guard Michael Onwenu placed on the PUP list and the Patriots already being thin at the two tackle positions, seeing Brown at Foxboro ready for camp is an excellent sign for the Patriots.

In his eighth season last year, Brown played in all 17 regular season games. Brown played 98% of the snaps last season for the Patriots offensive line. Brown was flagged nine times, seven of which were accepted.

After this season, the six-foot-eight-inch offensive tackle is set to become a free agent. With question marks already on the other side of the offensive line this year, it will be interesting to see how the Patriots address his upcoming free agency.

Going into the season, the Patriots will likely be using Trent Brown at left tackle and veteran offensive tackle Riley Reiff who signed a one-year deal this offseason.

Following this year, the Patriots will only have one of their top three offensive tackles under contract. Offensive tackle is almost assuredly set to be a position the Patriots will have to address before the 2024 season.
