9. Jameis Winston

This would be more of a throwaway type of move for the Patriots, who would be looking even further down the road. If New England didn't believe in a top quarterback other than Caleb Williams or Drake Maye, and they were unable to land either one in the draft, then maybe they make a move like this.

Jameis Winston is going to be a free agent, and he's a great candidate to come in and start, especially if the Patriots wind up drafting a quarterback just a tad later on and want to give him some time to sit and learn. Winston will certainly let it fly, which is something Mac Jones doesn't do often, but it will also come at a cost of some turnovers on a regular basis.

10. Justin Fields

Finally, we come to one of the more exciting scenarios in which the Patriots execute a trade. Let's say Belichick keeps his job, but he knows it's time to make a bold move going forward. He could help facilitate a trade between the Patriots and Chicago Bears for a quarterback who might end up being on the block this next season.

The Bears very well could be moving on from Justin Fields, especially if they land the no. 1 pick in the draft and go with Caleb Williams. Fields is a true dual-threat, but he hasn't been developed correctly and hasn't had the necessary scheme to fit his strengths.
