Rob Gronkowski is drinking, yes I know a shocker. This story though will make your head spin and make you realize we are all not built the same.

To summarize, Gronkowski is an absolute freak of nature. In the video, Jake Bequette a former defensive end for the New England Patriots, made it seem like this was commonplace for the future Hall of Fame tight end. For those that have been following Gronkowski's career on and off the field, this probably doesn't come as a surprise.

For those without Instagram or were unable to play the clip, Gronkowski used to go out with his crew in Boston and get dropped off at the Patriots facility in the middle of the night. Commonly players around the league will have a key fob that will grant them access to their team's facility whenever they please.

After a long night on the town, Gronkowski would get dropped off at the Patriots facility and go to the training room to sleep on the massive training room tables. Just trying to think like a Gronkowski for a second, this is a fantastic move for a multitude of reasons.

First off, you don't have to worry about getting to the facility in the morning on time. It is much easier to wake up from the training room bed than to have to get out of your own bed hungover and drive to the facility, while being on time.

The kicker is what the wonderful training team at the Patriots was able to do to treat the potential hangover. According to Bequette in this video, he says the training staff in Foxboro would let Gronkowski sleep on tables when they would get in to do their job in the morning. Then, while he was sleeping they would stick Gronkowski with an IV to replenish the superstar tight end. "Gronk" would wake up good as new and be ready to dominate on the field.

As shocking and as crazy this story sounds it is likely this happens in one shape or form around the league. Ultimately, for as much fun as Gronkowski appeared to have on and off the field he always was there in the biggest moments on the field and didn't get into any trouble off the field.
