He's been on the field at crucial points in games for the Patriots and has stepped up numerous times this year, making key stops on third down. Tavai has 90 combined tackles, one sack, 5 passes defended, and two interceptions.
He has proven to be a diamond in the rough on this Patriots roster and the team has benefitted because of it.
Demario Douglas: Nice list
The rookie from Liberty has flashed this season and, at times, hasn't played like it's his first year in the NFL.
The player they call "Pop" does exactly that; he provides an explosive pop on the field for a struggling offense. Douglas has only appeared in 11 games this season, and in those 11 games, he has had 39 receptions for 443 yards.
He's starting to become more reliable on the field for, once again, whoever happens to be the Patriots quarterback that day.
