The Patriots are set to take the field for their season opener on Sunday afternoon against the Bengals, and it is expected to be a tough matchup for the rebuilding team under new head coach Jerod Mayo. It is the first of many games on New England's schedule that will be far from easy, which isn't a position any team hoping to show improvement want to deal with.

Fortunately, the Patriots might get a few breaks from the list of injured Bengals players, most notably Tee Higgins who is doubtful to play in this game. There is also the uncertain status of Ja'Marr Chase, as he continues to lobby for a contract extension and might not play until he receives a payday.

That could work in the Patriots favor, giving their defense an extra push, but so could stopping quarterback Joe Burrow from making history from his performance.

The signal-caller is projected to become the latest quarterback to three touchdowns away from tying Justin Herbert in fourth place as the quickest quarterback in league history to throw for 100 touchdowns. Being down a handful of starters could make that a lot more difficult to accomplish, which is excellent motivation for a defense wanting to prove they're better than the current narrative.

It will definitely be a must-watch game, and if you are not in New England to see it on television, there are a handful of options to still catch the action.

If you're more into listening to the game than watching it, here is a list of radio stations that will be broadcasting the play-calling of Bob Socci and Scott Zolak from 98.5 The Sports Hub.
