The Patriots are on the road again this week, as they are set to take on perhaps their most difficult opponent yet: the 49ers. Both teams sit with a 1-2 record heading into Week 4, with the Patriots living up to the low expectations placed on them before the season began.

The 49ers, however, have had a disappointing start on their hopeful trek back to the Super Bowl after losing to the Chiefs last season. The belief is they will use this week's matchup against the Patriots as a "get right" game to add another win to their schedule, which might not be as easy to do with how many starters are expected to be out or dealing with injuries.

The more prominent names who are questionable for Sunday's game are TE George Kittle and WR Deebo Samuel, while QB Brock Purdy continues to nurse a back injury.

Unfortunately, the Patriots are also dealing with several injuries, having already ruled out three players before their trip to Santa Clara on Friday.

Depending on how things fare between now and game time regarding who is ruled out and who is available, the Patriots might have a chance to sneak out a win that would be far more shocking than their season opener against the Bengals.
