The Patriots go into their first meeting with AFC East foe the Dolphins undermanned and in need of another win. From two players being placed on injured reserve last week, one of which is done for the season (David Andrews) and already ruling out Jabrill Peppers, to alleged toxicity in the locker room, which created quite a stir in the days leading to the game, there is a lot riding on the result from Sunday's matchup.

It was a game that initially had New England favored for the first time this season, which was a significant change from being considered the underdogs for the entire year.

But since Miami is dealing with their own bad luck with injuries, like their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, it seemed fair to assume the Patriots might have a chance to add another win. That has since changed, with the Dolphins now favored, putting every odd against the home team once again.

Showing some consistency on offense, especially with the return of Kendrick Bourne to the lineup, and getting back to being a dominant defense is critical to setting up the rest of the season.

It's not going to be an easy day, as the Patriots historically struggle against the Dolphins, but there's a lot on the line from the result, most of which are not great for New England.
