The New England Patriots finally got into the win column in Week 3, but it took playing Zach Wilson to get there. Now, BetSided NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan thinks the Patriots can go to 2-2 with a win over the 2-1 Dallas Cowboys.

MacMillan picks every game of the season in his “Road to 272” and he’s taking the Patriots over the Cowboys in Week 4 despite the Cowboys being -7 point favorites. Dallas is dealing with some injuries and coming off a disappointing loss to the Cardinals, but this is a stunner.

Betting expert for Patriots in Week 4

Dallas looked dominant in Weeks 1 and 2, but MacMillan labeled them as a fraud before they lost to the Cardinals and was proven correct with their 28-16 loss. Now, he’s thinking the Patriots can win outright too.

“Heading into Week 4, they rank 11th in the league in net yards per play at +0.2," MacMillan wrote of the Cowboys. "The team right above them? The New England Patriots, ranking 10th at +0.3.”

It wasn’t Dallas’s offense that led them to their two big wins this season, and MacMillan doesn’t think the Cowboys will have an advantage on defense or special teams this week.

“The two lopsided affairs for the Cowboys were more of a result of defense and special teams than it was a strong and dominating offensive unit," MacMillan wrote. "Now, they'll face a team that has just as good of a defense in the Patriots.”

MacMillan is going with the Patriots on the moneyline this week. The question is, are you rolling with him?
