6 possible landing spots for Mac Jones in 2024
New England Patriots
Despite the most recent rumors claiming the team intends to trade Jones this offseason, they may change their mind, or the trade compensation isn't enticing enough to move on from him in the last year of his contract.
Jerod Mayo has already suggested he was open to Jones remaining with the team and feels he was deserving of another shot, citing the unfair treatment the quarterback has received over the last two years. Maybe he's had a change of heart since saying that, but there is a chance he will still feel that way.
Although it should be expected, Jones has repeatedly said he wants to stay in New England for the foreseeable future. So far this offseason, he's been reportedly putting in extra work to improve his chances of doing that.
If he demonstrates improvement in the spring or Mayo and Co. feel comfortable with him as the veteran quarterback for next season, it doesn't seem out of the question for Jones to remain a Patriot for one more season.
