Patriots should not draft: Jayden Daniels

The LSU signal caller doesn’t seem to have the same weakness as Maye. But with his ability to pull the ball down and run, he is probably this year’s Bryce Young. NFL coaches won’t want him to rely on his running ability as much as LSU does.

Daniels looks like he’ll be good in a year or two (provided he doesn’t land at a team that fires the head coach after just 11 games), but the Patriots need a starter now.

Patriots should not draft: Kalen King

Kalen King, or any undersized DB. Kyle Dugger and Jabril Peppers are the only two Patriots defensive backs who weigh in at over 210lbs. Some depth in the defensive backfield would be nice, but the Patriots should be looking for bigger defensive backs.

Both Riq Woolen and Kyle Hamilton have been drafted in the last two seasons, and they’ve had significant impacts on their respective teams.
