Is it surprising to see another receiver on this list? Probably not, but that's where the Patriots are with their current pass-catching roster.

It's no secret that Belichick found it difficult to draft receivers throughout his career, and Tyquan Thornton has all the makings of being his latest draft mistake. Besides the initial response to him trading up to draft the former Baylor receiver being unexcited, we've only seen a few splashes of exactly why the former head coach liked what he saw from Thornton.

Other than those few moments, most of which came during his rookie season, he has dealt with injury after injury and been unable to earn a spot on the field when he was healthy. The rise of Douglas and the reliability of others have pushed him to the bottom of the receiving chart, and it's hard to imagine how he will move up the ladder this offseason.
