5 linebackers the Patriots should consider drafting
By Rhys Knott
Curtis Jacobs - Penn State
Jacobs is even younger, two months and 21 days younger, in fact. At 6 feet inches and just 220 lbs. Jacobs is a little undersized. But he’s quick. Real quick. He clocked a 4.55 40-yard time. That’s the same time as Treylon Burks!
And when he arrived at Penn State, he became good friends with Micah Parsons. So, he’s learned from the best.
In his last three seasons in college, he made 9.5 sacks and recorded 24 tackles for a loss. He’s an explosive edge rusher, but he can also get between the tackle and guard on his way to the quarterback. Micah would be proud. Any NFL team would love to have that sort of dynamism on their roster.
