5 late-round quarterbacks who are worth a gamble for the Patriots
By Rhys Knott
Michael Pratt
The Tulane QB can straight-up sling the rock. And when he steps into the throw it absolutely flies. In his four years in college, he threw for 9,611 yards. That’s why Pratt is the 67th player on PFF’s big board.
The only concerns revolve around his movement. He doesn’t get out of the pocket very often. And he rarely stepped up to avoid pass rushers (partly because he didn’t have to). But most coaches believe they can succeed with a pure pocket passer. It’s not like Matt Stafford flies around the field and the Rams had a great offense in 2023.
