5 late-round quarterbacks who are worth a gamble for the Patriots
By Rhys Knott
Sam Hartman
Hartman began his college career at Wake Forest but transferred to Notre Dame after five years in North Carolina. Hartman has the best head of hair in the entire draft, so he’s got that going for him. He’s predicted to go in the seventh round of the draft.
Hartman is a very accurate passer, but he can take a while to get through his progressions. And he doesn’t have the quick release that Leary does. But he looks pretty calm in the pocket and has no issues that a good coach can’t fix.
