4 NFL teams that could hire Bill Belichick and continue his legendary career

It's over in New England, but that doesn't mean it's over for good.

3. Washington Commanders

Here's another team that's seemingly been hovering around the Belichick conversation for a few weeks now. It's probably not exactly the NFC East team that he'd prefer to coach, but the Commanders have a lot going for them: a roster not devoid of talent, the 2nd overall pick, and -- most importantly -- a new ownership group that's looking to make their first splashy move, and with the money to do so. D.C. is a dormant football city waiting for literally any reason to pack Fedex Field again, and pairing Belichick with Caleb Williams or Drake Maye would probably do the trick. Add a new, highly-regarded GM to the mix -- Chicago's Ian Cunningam and SF's Adam Peters are reportedly the two finalists -- and all of a sudden things don't look so bleak in the nation's capital/Landover, Maryland.
