There is going to be a ton of change with the New England Patriots after the 2023 NFL season concludes. Let's take a look at three things that will definitely happen. It's time to acknowledge that this franchise is in need of a reset from the front office down to the roster. Significant changes need to be made to get the New England Patriots back to where they were for 20 years.
The team will surely have to endure another lean year or two, but that's typically what happens with rebuilding teams. The Patriots being a bad team is not a crime; sure it's hard to accept, but this is what happens with every single NFL team at some point. In order to jumpstart a rebuild, big changes need to be made, and I think you can expect these three to be made, at least.
3 guarantees for the New England Patriots after the 2023 NFL season
1. Bill Belichick has at least one title stripped from him
I personally think that if this current state of the team remains, Bill Belichick will have both titles stripped from him. Frankly, I don't think Robert Kraft gives a hoot about what Belichick did in prior seasons; that has no bearing on the current team. Perhaps the game has passed Belichick by? Whatever the true reason for the team's lack of success, Bill Belichick cannot continue running the team this way. It simply cannot continue.
I think the best course of action is to thank him for his service and to restart at GM and head coach.
