TE Pharaoh Brown - signed 1-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks

The Patriots have struggled to find high-performing tight ends since Rob Gronkowski's untimely first retirement after the 2018 season. They were fortunate to add Hunter Henry during the 2021 spending spree by Belichick, as he's become a integral part of the offense in the years since.

But finding a formidable pairing for the former Charger has not been as easy.

After the Jonnu Smith experiment failed, the Patriots tried out Mike Gesicki during the 2024 season, which also didn't work out. Instead, an under-the-radar veteran by the name of Pharaoh Brown became one of the most sparingly used yet electric players the team had added in the last few years.

He wasn't used too much during his lone season in New England, recording just 13 receptions for 208 yards and a single touchdown. However, when he did get the football, he made it count, which led to him averaging a career-high 16 yards per catch.

It was the best statistical season of his six-year career and his production couldn't have come at a better time. The Patriots offense was an absolute disaster, but Brown's sporadic bursts made a significant difference.

He would've been a great player to keep beyond the 2023 season, but he signed with the Seahawks this offseason in hopes of being utilized more in another developing offense.
