Can the New England Patriots continue their losing ways against an equally bad team in the New York Giants? Or will the team still show signs of life? Well, the Pats aren't making the postseason this year and need a franchise QB, so any sign of life would be a mistake, honestly. It's better for the long-term viability of the franchise if the team were to lose their remaining games.

However, that's simply not how NFL teams think, or if they do think that, it's not something that becomes super obvious when the players step on the field. At the end of the day, these are players who are fighting for their jobs each and every week, so as much as some of us might want to see them lose for a higher draft pick, that's not how players are wired.

Both the Patriots and Giants are going to try to win this game, but if these teams are eyeing a QB in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, a loss does help their chances. Let's make three bold predictions for the Patriots in Week 12 versus the Giants.

Patriots offensive line allows at least 5 sacks

Unfortunately, the New England Patriots offensive line has been pretty poor this year. Between a ton of injuries and youngsters being forced into the lineup, the OL has had virtually no continuity, and it's really a shame, as when healthy, this is a top-10 unit. Well, the New York Giants defensive line is really good, even without Leonard Williams.

Kayvon Thibodeaux and Dexter Lawrence are going to have themselves a day along the defensive front. I think both will notch at least two sacks and I think the Patriots' OL is in for another brutal day. A unit that was once a strength year after year has turned into a total disaster.
