Other than maybe Bill Belichick, there's no one on the Patriots with more pressure on them to perform well this upcoming season than quarterback Mac Jones.

After finishing one of the best seasons by a rookie quarterback in the history of the NFL, Jones completely fell off the face of the planet under the guidance of Matt Patricia last season. He went from earning Pro Bowl honors to competing for the starting job with his backup quarterback, all in the span of one year.

Now that Patricia is out and Bill O'Brien is in, there is a lot of optimism regarding how the Patriots' offense will perform in 2023, with most of that surrounding Jones in particular.

Given how lackluster last season was, he certainly needs to have a bounce-back performance for more than just keeping his job in New England. But the good thing about it all is it looks like he is fully equipped to accomplish that.

But what about beyond the basic expectations? Three bold predictions for Jones' 2023 season may become less bold as the year progresses.
